"We Accept The Love We Think We Deserve"

Thu Dec 24

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

So this Christmas season has been comprably as bad as last Christmas season in which my grandma passed away. And although I’ve learned some truths that came harshly, and endured nasty situations, I’ve realized that in my life I have all that I need, and I’m so blessed. I just feel it necessary to reflect on all the good people in my life.

1. My family - Even if not necesarily expected, my family has really come through for me. They’ve really helped me throught his difficult time, and I’m starting to really enjoy their presence.

2. My boss, Richie - Although he is only my boss, he has shown me compassion and friendship. He’s one of those genuinely good people, who cares about my well being, and will always be there to help me when I’m lost or upset. His whole family is great, and I wish them the best in life.

3. My best friend, Melissa - She really is my best friend. Throughout these last few weeks, she’s shown me what it’s like to actaully have a good friend, who cares about you and wants the best for you. When that kind of thing happens, it’s like a reflex to return it back. I would do anything for this girl, whether it be having my dad drive 2 hours to go get her car keys from her dads office during the biggest blizard of the year, or being there for her when her boyfriend isn’t treating her well. She’s an amazing friend, and I love her to death.

4. My boyfriend, Justin - Although we’ve had our rough patches, he’s always been there for me. He cares about me just as much as I care about him, and he supports my decisions and helps me become a better person. He’s accepting, and tolerating of my nonsense. I couldn’t ask for a better boy.

5. My old friends, Danielle, Allison, and Chrissy - For the last year or two I’ve seriously doubted them, but they’ve shown me that they really are true friends. It’s good that we’ve all put aside our differences so we can spend our last year with the people we actually care about. In the end, if friendships are true, you always go back to them.

6. My good friend, Kyle - Although he’s a shmuck to the highest degree, and can really be mean, he’s shown me that he’s willing to apologize for his mistakes, and that he actually means well even if that’s not always how it comes across. He’s always willing to listen, and he’s always there when i need someone. A lot of people bust his balls, but he’s actually a good kid.
